Bubbles of Time

"Time" is our enemy and our friend. When we are young time is endless, a day is an eternity, but as we grow older it seems to gather speed and there is never enough of it!

This image attempts to capture some of the many facets of time - from man's beginnings as cavemen to our future in the stars. They are pictures of life on earth through the ages. As with the many dimensions of time, the largest (infinity) bubble contains an enigma. If the maiden who is about to pierce the bubble in front of her actually does, will she cease to exist?

Each bubble is a time capsule floating out into a distant sea of space. Who knows who will find them?
