Gossamer and Thistledown
When in the countryside at the end of summer, the thistle sheds its seeds and children will sometimes imagine them to be fairies.
The sun shines through the delicate down, creating a rainbow from the gossamer wings of playful sprites.
Children playfully chase them, but the breeze keeps them tantalizingly out of reach.
